One of the most celebrated occasions in Malaysia is none other than Chinese New Year. Packeteers were seen to indulge in Chinese New Year snacks and humming some popular Chinese New Year songs way before we celebrated Chinese New Year; everyone was just so ready to rock and roll in this festive celebration.

During the Chinese New Year period, Packeteers continued to celebrate it in office with many donning in their new and beautiful attires. On 15 February 2019, the Company decided to take this celebration further where Packeteers were ushered to a massive Prosperity Yee Sang Tossing. Aplenty of good blessings and auspicious dreams were shared with one another, signifying a good start at the beginning of the year.

In addition, Packeteers were excited to also experience the tradition of Chap Goh Meh where they wrote their personal details on mandarin oranges and tossed them into a “box”, representing a pool of water. Thereafter, they randomly drew an orange from the box, leading them to find their “new friends” in Green Packet. It was a wonderful moment, having to see all the Packeteers asking around and taking photos with their new friends.

Leveraging on this occasion, we gathered all the February babies and celebrated their birthdays together.
