An active contributor to the science and technology industry in Malaysia and formerly Science Advisor in the Prime Minister’s Department, Tan Sri Omar served on a number of national committees and initiated various programmes for the country’s technology advancement management, research and development and commercialization. This includes the establishment of Technology Park Malaysia Corporation, the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology, Composite Technology (Research) Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Malaysia Technology Development Corridor.

Mr. Leong Seng Wui has been an entrepreneur in the ICT industry for over 23 years. He started off in the ICT retail sector after he graduated in IT studies from Binary Business School. He was on of the pioneer technopreneur in Malaysia starting out on his own.
In his own setup, he was focusing on the telco and mobile retailing industry. A driven individual, he was instrumental in driving his company to be awarded the prestigious Golden Bull award (Top 100 SME) by Alliance Bank and Nanyang Siang Pau, the notable PIKOM ICT Retailer of the year award, Dopod Retailer of the year, O2 Retailer of the year, Dopod Top 10 Retailer of Asia Pasific under his leadership.
In 2011, he joined the 1 Utopia Berhad Group as Marketing Manager in ICT Utopia Sdn. Bhd. to grow the brand as well as to assist with the creative aspect in the event and retail management. At the same time, due to his vast experience in the ICT product market and channel aspect, he advises and assists in the ICT products segment of the 1 Utopia Berhad Group.
On 12 September 2012, Mr Leong was appointed as Group Chief Operating Officer, tasked with heading and growing the entire operations of the 1 Utopia Group. He was formerly an Executive Director of Macpie Bhd.

Encik A. Shukor was appointed as the company’s Independent Non-Executive Director in 2008. En Shukor has also been designated the position of Executive Director on 1 August 2021. He has played key roles in Malaysia’s technology sector and was the Chairman of Persatuan Industri Komputer dan Multimedia (PIKOM) from 1993 to 1995. He was the former Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Theta Edge Bhd.

Mr Kenny Khow has more than 13 years of experience as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers Malaysia, including a two years secondment from 2004 to 2006 at PricewaterhouseCoopers London.
He joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1997 and has an extensive experience in the area of corporate exercises covering IPO, demerger of a listed entity, management and integration of two major companies in Malaysia, privatisation of a major listed entity, rights issue, issuance of debt securities, as well as the sale and leaseback of key assets.
His other work experience includes financial due diligence, advisory and numerous cross-border securities offering. He also sits on the Board of Directos MMAG Holdings Berhad as an Executive Director and CSH Alliance Berhad (formerly known as KTG Berhad) as an Executive Director.
As the Executive Director of the companies, in addition to overseeing Groups' financial affairs including accounting, finance, tax and treasury, he also oversees human resources related matters and other administrative duties.
Mr. Kenny Khow holds a degree in Accouting and Finance (Distinction) from the University of Technology, Sydney. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and CPA Australia.

Mr Sharman a/l Arumugam was appointed to the Board in May 2021. He is a member of INSOL International, a Chartered Member of Malaysian Institute of Directors, and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia. His job exposure includes public institutions/ multinationals and public listed companies in various industries such as manufacturing, services, hospitality, transport and in particular, financial institutions. In the late 1990s, he was the Corporate Finance Head of a Bursa Malaysia listed entity where he managed all financial and regulatory submissions to all relevant authorities. From early to mid-2000s, he was with the SIH Group as Finance Director of a telecommunication subsidiary and was subsequently promoted as the Group Finance Director. His principal function was to assist the Board of Directors in managing a portfolio of investments and companies located in North America, Europe and Asia. Currently, as Country Partner for SCS Global Consulting, he provides corporate advisory services for a broad spectrum of domestic and international companies. He also sits on the Boards of MNCs subsidiaries in Malaysia such as Toshiba Precision, Rakuten Insight, Iwaki Pump.

As a global professional with experiences in Malaysia, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates and Singapore, Syafinaz Merican is currently serving as a Director for three funds managed by Fairshore Asset Management (FAMCO), and is a MAS Regulated Investment Manager based in Singapore representing over USD$4.0bn in assets. She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Business Administration (International Business) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA and had early trainings at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where she specialised in regional and local corporate finance covering privatisations, M&A transactions, corporate restructuring, risk, regulation & compliance management, and other advisory services. Syafinaz also served as the Founding Director and General Manager of Patchi Malaysia, and as a Corporate Advisor with Dragoni International LLC, Dubai, where she performed strategic management to enhance the company’s performance and value for DEPA PLC, a global interior contracting and solutions company on the Dubai NASDAQ, to acquire the company as its majority shareholder.
