KiplePay partners Digital Perak to provide cashless ecosystem for Perak State

Kuala Lumpur, 9 October 2020 – KiplePay Sdn Bhd (KiplePay) today entered a strategic collaboration with Digital Perak Corporation Holdings (Digital Perak) to provide a unified payment platform that will bring cashless convenience for both citizens and merchants to perform cashless transactions in government services and businesses in the Perak state.

This collaboration will further KiplePay’s agenda to bring cashless benefits to both citizens and businesses in Perak. Citizens can now use cashless payment methods to access and pay for various services through the Digital Perak web portal. These services include training courses, co-working space, computer lab and office through Hub Innovasi and Multimedia (HiM), and asset booking, quit rent and summon payment with agencies, municipal councils and other Government Linked Companies (GLC) in Perak.

For businesses, merchants under Digital Perak’s S.M.A.R.T Niaga@Perak programme will be able to provide cashless payments for in-store and online transactions. KiplePay will provide a merchant app that enables cashless payments for in-store transactions and the KipleBiz Unified Payment platform will support merchants who sell their services or goods online with payment gateway services that facilities multiple mode of payments such as Online Banking, Debit / Credit Card and multiple E-Wallets.

The exchange of Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was witnessed by the Menteri Besar of Perak, Y.A.B. Dato’ Seri Ahmad Faizal bin Dato’ Azumu. Also present were Chief Executive Officer of Digital Perak, Meor Rezal Fitri bin Dato’ Dr Hj Meor Redwan and Chief Executive Officer of KiplePay, Kay Tan.
