CC Puan Shares his insights and key learning on the post-pandemic economy in Southeast Asia and China. He also shares wisdom from the ancient Chinese divination text "I Ching" and his views on the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).
Citing first his experience on working with Chinese companies in the past, CC Puan also notes the rise of China as a global economic superpower, which will bring recovery to the world by growing its domestic economy.
CC Puan notes the recurring cycles of major and extraordinary events as predicted by I Ching, predicting that China will reach its peak in 2100 or after as its economy continues to grow and overtakes the US economy. The 15 members that make up the RCEP already account for 1/3 of the world’s population, with its economic level accounting for more than 30% of the world’s GDP.
With total GDP for RCEP members anticipated to increase to 100 trillion by 2050, Southeast Asia will likely play a key role as a gateway to trading partners. Green Packet believes that this mutual understanding and collaboration will result in the forming of brilliant joint ventures and partnerships in the region.
