Consumers are rapidly becoming enamored with wireless data. With wireless data traffic expected to grow tremendously, network congestion is a fierce battle the Mobile Network Operator’s (MNO) need to fight to keep their subscribers happy.
A variety of solutions exist to offload data traffic. These range from off-loading traffic onto WiFi hotspots, employing the use of femtocells to off-load to secondary networks, or employing the use of a connection manager.
