6 May 2010, Kuala Lumpur – Greenpacket, a leading developer of next-generation mobile broadband and  networking solutions today launched Interact Collabright (“Collabright”). Working with Intel, the Collabright application helps deliver true Personal Area Network (PAN) technology that extends the capabilities of Intel® My WiFi Technology.
Collabright is a next-generation wireless networking platform that is independent of infrastructure. The application allows multiple users to share documents and audio-visual files via a secured device-to-device connection.

Through Collabright, users connected via PAN are not only able to share files and folders, but can also chat with either single or multiple parties. The platform also supports screen sharing for users within a group to view presentations or current screens of other users, as well as interact among themselves with a whiteboard application.

Greenpacket’s collaboration with Intel to create an application built on the Intel My WiFi Technology SDK is further testament to its innovative technology vision. With Interact Collabright, Greenpacket hopes to encourage ODMs and OEMs to realize the importance of a connected world through peer-to-peer sharing that will be of real benefit to their customers.

Lee confirmed that Greenpacket is in advanced talks with major laptop ODMs and OEMs for the licensing of its Collabright software, which will enable the Company to penetrate into new markets.
