15 January, 2009, Kuala Lumpur: Green Packet Berhad (Green Packet), a leading developer of next generation mobile broadband and networking solutions has signed an agreement with PCCW to provide a customized version of its Intouch product line.
This is a significant partnership for Green Packet as PCCW is the largest and most comprehensive communications service provider in Hong Kong and one of Asia’s leading information communications technology players. The partnership marks Green Packet’s strong induction into one of Asia’s most competitive and challenging telecommunications environments.
Kelvin Lee, Senior General Manager of Green Packet said, “The adoption of Intouch solution is a strong indicator of our solution’s attractive value proposition and benefits, especially in a market like Hong Kong where sophisticated consumers demand high quality and value.”
Lee added that Intouch solution is ideal in optimizing network infrastructure. Intouch solution has the ability to address Quality of Service (QoS) concerns securely. To the consumer, this means an enhanced lifestyle experience and makes accessing the internet easy and user friendly.
Green Packet is a KLSE Main Board listed global technology company and Intel investee company for the deployment of WIMAX commercial services in Malaysia through its subsidiary and WiMAX operator arm, Packet One. Green Packet recently signed an agreement with Alcatel–Lucent, which will help market its comprehensive field-tested range of WiMAX CPE covering indoor, outdoor and USB modems, as well as the Intouch Connection Manager.
