GREEN PACKET NETWORKS TO LAUNCH FIRST WiMAX CONSULTANCY IN THE MIDDLE EAST
Offers end-to-end WiMAX planning, to accelerate WiMAX deployment in the region

Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 24th September, 2008: Middle East telecommunications operators, businesses, and individuals looking for superior broadband speed are set to benefit from the first dedicated WiMAX consultancy firm in the region set up by Green Packet Networks W.L.L in collaboration with a global division of its sister company Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd also known as P1.

The WiMAX consulting firm will lend first hand experience and expertise to WiMAX players in this region to assist them in accelerating deployment and achieving commercial success.

Amongst the consulting services available are WiMAX strategic business planning, technology deployment, sales and marketing strategies, and roll-out management.  In addition, the firm will also offer consultation on WiMAX-related voice, video, and value added services.

According to US-based Senza Fili Consulting, WiMAX offers a huge growth opportunity for operators facing slowing growth from retail to individual subscribers.  It also estimated that there will be over 154 million connections supporting vertical applications within 3G, WiMAX, and LTE networks by 2014, generating more than US$43bn in cumulative service revenue by that time.
