Introduces WIMAX Consulting Services, CPEs and Application

CAIRO, 23 June, 2008 - Green Packet Networks W.L.L. (GPN) will leverage on the tried and tested experience of its sister company and WiMAX operator, Packet One Networks (Malaysia) (P1) to offer WiMAX license holders and aspirants in the MENA region WiMAX consulting services, products and applications.  P1 is a subsidiary and WiMAX arm of Green Packet Berhad, which is listed on the Main Board of the Malaysian Bourse and GPN is a joint venture company of Green Packet Berhad with Saudi Economic Development Company (SEDCO).

Green Packet, which has a strong track record in mobile broadband and networking solutions, introduces the P1 WiMAX Global Services, a consulting division to offer invaluable insights into the successful commercialization of WiMAX. It promises access to the Green Packet-P1’s expertise and hands-on experience in terms of strategic business planning, technology planning and deployment, sales and marketing strategies, and program management to ensure successful WiMAX roll-out.

According to Yagoub Alsulais, the General Manager of GPN, the Middle East is fertile ground for the development of WiMAX.
