About Green Packet
 

Green Packet is a global technology company first established in the Silicon Valley of California, U.S.A. in 2000. Subsequently, Green Packet Berhad (“Green Packet”) was incorporated on 15 December 2000 in Malaysia as a regional research & development (“R&D”) and marketing centre to further develop and commercialize the wireless networking technologies initially developed by Green Packet Inc. Headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Green Packet has more than 400 employees worldwide with offices in USA, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Australia, Singapore and Bahrain. R&D activities are carried out in multiple locations such as Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai and in Cupertino (California).

Green Packet in Malaysia is a public company listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. Green Packet's flagship Self Organizing Network (SON) Solutions are currently marketed in key regions around the world namely the Greater China, South East Asia and Oceania, Middle East and North Africa. Already, it counts several major telecommunication operators, original equipment manufacturers and enterprises as its clients and business partners. These include China Telecom Corporation Limited, China United Telecommunication Corporation Shanghai Branch, Philippines Long Distance Telephone Company, Maxis Communications Berhad (Malaysia), DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (Malaysia), Kalaam Telecom Bahrain B.S.C.(c), Intel (China), Hewlett-Packard (China), PT Indosat Tbk (Indonesia), Nesma Advanced Technology Co. Ltd. (Saudi Arabia), Seven Seas Computers (UAE), Etisalcom W.L.L. (Bahrain) and many others.

In March this year, Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (P1, formerly known as MIBCOMM Sdn Bhd), a subsidiary of Green Packet has been awarded the WiMAX license by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission.
