Transmission Manager
Responsibilities:

Summarize network rollout plan that synchronizes with marketing and management direction with RF planning team to ensure smooth network rollout |

Provision transmission network overall capacity planning to ensure correct transmission network dimensioning |
° |
Evaluate correct 3rd party fiber optic leased-bandwidth / microwave radio system capacity dimensioning to ensure optimum operation need
|
° |
Ensure timely commercial arrangement for transmission network optimization to ensure bottleneck-less communication between WBS and AGW
|
° |
Determine commercial feasibility on network integration into existing transmission network to ensure accurate technical assistance being provided |
° |
Provide comprehensive technical assistance to any upcoming transmission related business (wired or wireless medium) to ensure P1 business growth |
° |
Provide technical advice to manage service team to so that P1 transmission network can operate with full technical understanding |
° |
Evaluate existing microwave radio system and 3rd party fiber optic leased-bandwidth performance to ensure network reliability and future procurement |
Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent |
° |
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in transmission network is required for this position |

Extensive knowledge on access network and core network technology |
° |
Extensive network integration knowledge (microwave and fiber optic) |
° |
Extensive understanding on wired and wireless transmission |

Good understanding on transmission network design and operation |

Good understanding on Ethernet / IP network design and operation |
