Solution Architect
Responsibilities:

Interact closely with customers during project scoping stage to understand customer requirements and propose alternative viewpoints or suggestions to further qualify and refine customer requirements |

Analyze and break down customer's high level requirements into sub-components and focus on the integration of the various parts of the solution, while not losing sight of the big picture of a particular solution |
° |
Document overall solution architecture, detailed requirements and system flows into Functional Requirement Specifications |
° |
Obtain sign-off of Functional Requirement Specifications from customer in order to confirm customer requirements and solution architecture |
° |
Effectively communicate solution design to development team in order to obtain buy-in and ensure development team fully understands proposed solution and its various sub-components |
° |
Work closely with development team to ensure proper solution implementation during project execution stage |
° |
Act as main point of contact for both customers and internal teams with regards to technical enquiries and clarifications or amendments to solution architecture |
° |
Survey landscape and market for solution insights, direction and methodologies. Constantly keep abreast of new and latest technologies to improve solution design in current and future projects |
Requirements:
° |
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering ( Computer / Telecommunication ) , Computer Science or equivalent

Able to speak and write in English |
° |
At least 5 years of working experience in software/system architecture in telecommunication and / or wireless field |
° |
Experience in Pre-Sales and / or Project Management would be an added advanta |
° |
Broad and deep technical knowledge and skills with cross industry, cross functional and cross domain expertise |
° |
Technical skills and experience in the following : |

~ Operating systems : Windows , Windows Mobile, Windows CE, Macintosh, Linux, Symbian, Android, iPhone |

~ BSS and OSS systems |
| |
~ Modelling languages (eg : UML ) able to develop use cases, class diagrams, state diagrams |

~ Process methodologies (eg : RUP, CMMI, PMBOK) |

Software development experience ( preferably in C/C++ or Java ) |

Familiar with software / system development lifecycle (SDLC) and has performed in a variety of different roles in the lifecycle |

Experience with working in complex and heterogeneous hardware / software environment and client / server architecture |
