iOS Engineer
(Prototype - JAVA, Objective C, Xcode, Android, iOS)
Responsibilities:

Research, Design, Coding, Testing new software product or prototype to prove the feasibility of the software design, technology and the feasibility of overall solution. |
°
|
Propose technology, tools and technical solution to the product managers for innovative product ideas and requirements. |
° |
Propose and Develop Software architecture and platforms for new product at conceptual stage. |
° |
Contribute to the Requirement Gathering and Functional Requirement via joint requirement reviews with Product Line Managers and Product Architects for New Product Development. |
° |
Verify that the software conforms to the business/functional specifications and design documents from the Product Architect or Product Manager. |
° |
Ensure that the product meets with specific standards to ensure future integratability to existing commercialized products and systems. |
° |
Debug and Support issues and problems during troubleshooting, testing and IOT initiatives for customer trials and demonstrations. |
° |
Ensure ease of maintenance of the software by ensuring proper documentation of the software and ensuring the usage of best engineering practices during development of the software. |
° |
Participate in peer analysis and review of software designs, implementations, and related work. |
° |
Ensure technology transfer or knowledge transfer with other product development engineers for via joint-technical discussions when new products are ready or productize/commercialize. |
° |
Work with research groups to integrate new technologies into new software applications and platforms. |
° |
Contribute to continuous improvement activities by providing knowledge & expertise to the team on systems/operational environments, new developments in software engineering and industry standards. |

Requirements:

Bachelor / Master Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication. |
°
|
5 – 7 years related work experience . Experience in designing, coding and building software programs for multiple operating systems and multiple platforms. |
° |
Experience in Applied Research is an added advantage. |
° |
Familiarity with client-server communication protocols and RPC. Familiarity with the internals of Window and MAC environments, Mobile phone (Android, IOS, Symbian). |
° |
Significant professional software development experience in at least 2 of the following environments: C/C++/C#, JAVA, .Net, Javascript, XML, iOS, Android, HTML. |
° |
Familiar with internet technologies such as IS Server, Javascript, HTML, CSS and database technologies such as MySQL. |
° |
Knowledge in Mobil Development for Android is an added advantage. |
° |
Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or has knowledge SEI CMM reference models software process is an added advantage. |
° |
Highly proficient at disseminating technical concepts in both written and oral forms with the ability to communicate this across all levels of the business. |
° |
