Senior Executive, Product Development

Responsibilities:

°
Manage the product development initiative for end-to-end process/cycle so as to achieve the budgeted enterprise data revenue by broadband products through formulation of strategy, marketing, sales, creating value propositions, competitive pricing, to increase subscribers base, active users, usage and reduce churn
°
Formulate strategic directions for the enterprise product and service portfolio to ensure that the broadband product portfolio remains competitive and attractive for customer retention. Continuously working with the Marketing team to promote and market the products to ensure that existing customers use the product and to attract new customers
°
Ensuring that the products are simple, easy to use and reliable. Work with all the relevant stakeholders to ensure that SLA fulfillment by monitoring the value chain of the products
°
Work with Technology/Partners/Vendors to develop competitive broadband products for the Malaysia enterprise / business market place by defining the wants and needs of the market place. Products Managers continuously evaluate the market place to ensure that the product range remain competitive via enhancement of existing products or development of new products. Establish partnerships with vendors and providers to support business goals. Also responsible for the development of the business case and forecasting

Working with CRM/ Strategy and Planning/CS/Sales team to understand product life cycle and needs and to ensure that the products continuously remain competitive to customers and develop and promote “sticky” features to ensure customers stay
°
Working with direct and indirect sales teams to continuously ensure that our products and services are competitive and attractive within the market place. (To ensure that target segments are properly addressed in terms of product, price plans and distribution channel.)
°
Work on the above in meeting revenue budget, through development, marketing and sales of products to ensure take-up rate and usage. Monitor potential revenue leakage by working on the product value chain with the respective stakeholders

Requirements:

°
Degree of engineering in the field of telecommunication. Understanding of Malaysia telecommunication landscape is a must, especially in the Enterprise Data sector
°
Experience in Telco and Service Provider environment preferable
°
Years of experience: 3 ~ 5 years
°
Special Skill and Qualification
°
Strong knowledge of telecommunication and technical enterprise networking solution, in particular IP domain and wireless technology
°

Knowledge of marketing, (Good understanding of the Marketing 4 Ps – product, price, promotion and place). Good understanding of pricing, budgeting and forecasting

°
With good strategy development and implementation in enterprise solutions and services
°
Ability to work, direct and motivate different team members (internally and externally) and understands the value chain
°
Understanding of product development cycle and enterprise business cycle (behavior, purchasing pattern, and etc)
°
Technical knowledge on device market and lifecycle operation
°
Proactive, friendly, passion, energetic, and open attitude
°
Personal: 25~30 years old
